You want quality water for just a single or a couple. You want distilled water at an affordable price. Distilled water is boiled till it evaporates and then condenses through cooling. Disadvantages

There are several disadvantages to this water purifier distiller. It is not certified by the NSF International or other international organizations. It is really slow, taking 5 hours to give you 1 gallon of distilled water. Also, it is so thorough in removing everything from the water that it even removes the natural and healthy minerals from your water as well as the contaminants. The cost per gallon can be an issue depending on the cost of electricity in your community. This unit uses 580 watts of electricity. Distillation in general is electricity intensive.
